Here at Nature Signs we have always strived to do as much as possible to help the environment. We are fortunate that our office
is located in a designated ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ and adjacent to the World Class UNESCO Biosphere of Braunton Burrows.
- Our signs are recyclable and our wooden mounts are produced from sustainably sourced timber and treated with a low VOC content stain.
- Our nature trail quiz leaflets are printed on 9 Lives Silk, which uses 100% recycled fibre, and is printed
with soya and vegetable based inks.
- Our letterhead paper is printed on Conqueror, 25% recycled with other fibres sourced from
well-managed forests, and our Xerox Optimum office paper is made from 100% post
consumer waste.
- We use Treesaver and Evolve envelopes, and both are made from 100% recycled fibres .
- We send most of our information sheets out by electronic format.
- All ink cartridges are sent to Devon Wildlife Trust for recycling.
- We recycle all paper, cardboard and plastic waste.
- Heating consumption is kept to a minimum, we just wear more jumpers in the winter!
- We have a bicycle that we use wherever possible for photos and site visits to cut down on
carbon emissions.
- Our packaging is reclaimed from other suppliers and local businesses.
- We use small local businesses wherever possible for our local office products.
- We are members of the National Trust, Devon Wildlife Trust, Buglife and CoaST.
